WE ARE OPEN!

Bergen Dermatology Specialist is now open with new Always Safe Procedures and we are seeing new and existing patients. We take the health and safety of our patients & staff very seriously and have revised in-office safety policies in response to the Covid-19 outbreak.

Our Always Safe Procedures include: pre-screening staff and patients, performing temperature checks upon arrival, requiring everyone to wear masks at all times, sending all necessary paperwork electronically so it can be filled out prior to appointment, requesting patients come alone if possible, implementing social distance protocols, and continually sanitizing the waiting room and clinical areas. In addition, we are also allowing greater time between appointments to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any given time.

This will mean you have fewer options for scheduling appointments. It also means it is vitally important that you show up for your scheduled time as we are now enforcing a “no show” policy. Our policy states that if you do not show up for your appointment or do not cancel within 1 business day prior to your appointment, you will be charged a no show fee of $50 dollars for a medical dermatology visit and $100 dollars for a surgical or cosmetic visit.
Telemedicine appointments remain available for patients who prefer and can be seen virtually. The health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority. Bergen Dermatology Specialist is following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), as well as state and town health departments as we care for our patients. We have outlined in detail our new Always Safe procedures below to ensure that you feel safe and comfortable returning to our office.
